Physio4 is the practice name for Fiona Buchanan. I have over 10 years of experience working as a Chartered Physiotherapist in the human field in the NHS and previously for the Army. I graduated with a BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy in 1996 and recently completed a Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy from the Royal Veterinary College.
I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (MCSP), Health Professions Council (HPC), and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy (ACPAT). Members of ACPAT are recognised by most major pet insurers, and have full public liability insurance.
Veterinary Physiotherapists work closely with vets and treat animals in accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act. Therefore your vet will need to refer your animal for Physiotherapy.
